Which Razors Can You Take in Hand Luggage?

Ryanair's current guidance prohibits razors and razor blades capable of causing serious injury, while specifically exempting safety or disposable razors with enclosed blades and razor heads held in plastic compartments. This means an ordinary enclosed-blade disposable or cartridge razor can generally travel in your cabin bag, while loose or exposed razor blades should not. Other sharp items, including certain knives, box cutters and tools, are also restricted in hand luggage.
